Walking around Seoul city - Cheonggyechon Stream

Yesterday after work I was walking to Jogyesa Temple to take pictures of the lights for Buddha’s Birthday. The post will come soon.

On the way I took some photos of the street life in Myeongdong, Chonggyechon stream with the lights and then just some test shots. Please have a look. I will split it in several posts. I hope you like them.

Cheonggyechon stream used to be a big road through Seoul and a few years ago it was decided to have it renaturated.

When I was my first time in Seoul in 1998 I was driving on the road.

It is now a nice stream for several km through Seoul. For Buddhas's birthday they have it also decorated with lights. It is very nice.

Cheonggyechon Stream is in the middle of the city. It is close to city hall, Gyeongbok Palace and Myeongdong
